Lightbulb Ni Doms: What are your thoughts on God?

We all know Ni has kind of a "mystical" reputation, and I know my own personal beliefs on God are ridiculously complex, so I'm wondering where other Ni doms stand on the matter of God.

Please, if you are an Ni dom, fill out the poll.

If not, please, feel free to check out the results and/or read or write posts, but please, for the love of, um, God (?), don't vote in the poll.

Once again: Ni Dom Users Only In The Poll, Please!

    Thanks

    Thanks for the vote, btw.

And no attitude intended in that previous post.

Just not quite sure what you meant...

How could you lack belief and believe there is no God?

If you lack belief, then you'd be agnostic, right? Or wrong? If so, how?

And I gave three all-encompassing options for such a person: more than 50, 50-50, and less than 50 percent chance that a God exists.

    (Looking forward to response... )

I consider myself a weak atheist rather than an agnostic. IMO, the agnostic position does theism too much honor. If you widen the definition to include all phenomena we have no reason to believe exist, feel free to think of me as an agnostic, but somehow no one ever creates polls like this asking people to assign percentages of belief in the existence of the Easter Bunny.

I'm agnostic in the sense that I don't believe we can really know objectively. But I do believe in God. It's ingrained in me from childhood and I also like believing in God, so I do.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

I think that's because most reasonable, open-minded people are able to distinguish possible realities from obvious fictions...
