Default So I've been recruited to be in a documentary.

The documentary focuses on what 18-21 year olds see as the biggest problems facing them today. The dude in charge has a focus on environmental issues, drug policy, and foreign policy.

He said that the interview will be edited, but I'll be interviewed for about an hour.

He asked me to prepare myself for the interview and I have some ideas for what I'd like to talk about.

Energy policy (putting more money into alternative energy sources).

    Environmental policy (conservation).

Economics (this is going to be tough, because my education in economics starts and ends with ECO 101).

Human Rights (gay rights, african american rights, immigration, the war on drugs, etc.)

    Foreign policy.

Anyone have any ideas for things I could talk about? Just throwing anything out there will stimulate the formulation of ideas.

Yay! I'm going to come along and read my letter, ending with: "...You are hurting me and this forum and yourself, Brendan, and I just hope and pray that one day you will have to courage to face the truth and change to conform to what we all think is best for you while everyone is watching you on national TV, so please do not say no. Please, Brendan. Please come home. Be our little Brendan once more." <cries>

    (congratulations Brendan!)
    Seconded. It sounds awesome.

Is that such a bad thing? We don't have to kill people to decrease the world population, we could just keep it in our pants. There are way too many of us though.

congrats! I'd actually suggest picking up the newest issue of National Geographic, as it focuses on water (shortages, pollution and such)... it makes for an interesting topic, especially for someone moving from a region with relatively few water shortage problems to one that has some definite problems in that area!

    Thanks guys

And Ivy, as you know I have no trouble speaking my mind But this seems a bit more, idk, heavy. I guess I feel that I have a responsibility to be clear and fair, and to try and represent what I stand for in a clear concise way. I really don't want to go into this and come out feeling like an ass.
