I almost never use emoticons. I do sometimes stop myself from using them, I don't often want to but on the odd occasion I do I try to find another way. Originally it was because I was too lazy to open the pop up menu for them. Now it is mostly because I have become stubborn in my style. I quite like the challenge of getting the message across without an emoticon.

it IS a truly wonderous smilie... that I've seen dudes use on quite a few occasions

I'm still amazed that new people often think I'm a guy

    Thanks for the World Cup!

I've initially mistake you as a man, in part because you had a man as avatar. But I've quite speedily understand that you were a female.

By the way, does it mean that your avatar is a female skeleton?

But anyway, to use smileys in large quantities is not a privilege reserved to Halla.

it most certainly isn't... I was here abusing emoticons first

and I don't think that Baron Samedi is a chick's skeleton... though I wouldn't be surprised if he had a few in the closet

I usually pick dudes for avatars because they suit my personality better... though my posts are rather girly

Your last avatar was some kind of Hawaiian hula-hooper, wasn't it? I thought that one rather suited you actually!

well I was going to reply with something about how:

"people can exhibit different behaviours for different reasons and can consciously choose to emphasize and develop functions which ar enot their dominant ones, in my case my inferior function, like yours OP, is Fe. And not every person on finding out their MBTI then consciously decides 'I must emulate this description as closely as possible'. ".

But then I realized the thread is 3 years old, and while it makes little difference because what is improtant is the concept and not replying to the individual...it still seems kinda silly to address a 3 y/o OP.
"Of course we spent our money in the good times. That's what you're supposed to do in good times! You can't save money in the good times. Then they wouldn't be good times, they'd be 'preparation for the bad times' times."

"Every country in the world owes money. Everyone. So heere's what I dont get: who do they all owe it to, and why don't we just kill the bastard and relax?"

^ I noticed the necromancy, but as there seemed to be a current debate restarting and it was mildly interesting when bored, I thought "What the hell..."
