    Apathy.

Ironic, I know. But it's what I have the most difficult with in many situations. The ability to give a damn. It can be quite mood dampening. Like knowing you don't really care, but thinking you should, because people expect you too. Or when you know you should probably feel emotional, because others do too, but you're just not feeling it. It induces a form of loneliness, like you're not like the rest, and don't really fit in.

    Fear.

It makes me doubt myself, it makes me run from the situation which in turn keeps me from learning how to not be fearful when in that situation. It's crippling.

    Shame/Embarrassment

I guess it's connected to fear of losing control.

    Is despair/melancholy an emotion?
Sadness is an emotion. I'd say those others were "state of mind". What's the difference? Dunno, just doesn't seem right.

ETA Infatuation isn't an emotion either.
