Being touched/held - Physical comfort with the right people can make all the difference in the world. Whether they simply hold my hand, take me into their arms for a hug, or just put their arm around me and let me stay next to them for a while. Sometimes all I need is the warmth and energy of a loving/sympathetic/empathetic warm body to feel better.

Talking - Again with the right people, but those people that I can open up to and vent to for a good hour or so I wouldn't trade for the world. Sometimes I just need to get it out, and I need someone to listen to me and offer good, solid advice. Friends are great for that <3

Drawing - If I'm in so dark a mood that I don't want anyone around sometimes I'll just open my sketchbook and draw my anger/sadness out. Most of the time it ends up in the garbage, but even the tearing/crumpling process is therapeutic.

Music - I tend to try and find a series of songs/artists that suit that current mood. Sometimes if I bombard myself with too much of an emotion I get sick of being sad/angry/whatever and will actually force myself to cheer the fuck up just so that I won't have to listen to another song like that. It's true!

Sleep - If all else fails, I'll turn off completely for the night. Usually when I wake up I'm feeling refreshed and able to start again.
