Do you get chosen for leadership position in real life situations, too? I do think ENTPs make for natural leaders... or rebels.
Usually just to lead a specific project. I get too bored to do anything longer than that. I always seem to function as the X-factor because I have trouble not being honest when I hate something.
At this one place I worked, this ESFJ executive wanted to buy this $30,000 software to help manage our projects better. To replace something that cost us $50 a month and was easy. Basically, they wanted to add better time tracking to specific project tasks so we could stay on budget. But, only problem was the software was an abortion. Ten clicks to do the most simple thing. Horrible.
After a demo with the whole company I just said in front of everyone, "This software is horrible. No one will use it the way you expect and it will just make things suck more. You are wasting money on something that is useless."
Sure enough, she bought it just as I expected. Sure enough, everyone complained about how horrible it was. I didn't see the aftermath because I didn't stick around. Even while I was there I never used it the way they wanted me to, which annoyed her to no end. But, I do know the web-based software we were using before added the features she wanted about a year later.
