There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

I agree that my username could be interpreted as creepy, and it is certainly a creepy thread title. I would argue that the question itself is not terribly creepy, though. This isn't murder, it's reluctant choice. Someone dies, and rather than it being a random innocent, you select someone who you feel has wronged others, or who has already lived a rich life, or something like that.

You know what, that doesn't sound any less creepy now. You probably should keep an eye on me.

not sure who I'd select. Don't have it out for anyone. I'd probably just hit random. Whether it's a Nigerian dictator who eats babies alive or a sick Lithuanian child with no parents. Or me. No bias

How about oneself? Can there be grater power then to choose one's departure from this world?

I'd kill Kim Jong Il, slowly and surely- bit by bit. In a public demonstration in front of all the North Koreans. Mmm. With the epic "Kim Jong Il, our Glorious Leader" music playing in the background.

Either someone who wants to die (b/c of a medical thing, e.g.) or someone who deserves it, or a strategic figure whose death would benefit the world.

The Kim Jong-Il idea was in the right direction ... but I'd worry that they'd interpret that as martyrdom, and keep worshipping him, and then he'd just be replaced by his son (who's being prepped for the position as we speak).

The people of North Korea are being prepped to sing his praises too. :rolli: And apparently, Kim Jong-un is a chip off the old block. But I like the way you are thinking...

Hmmm... I guess maybe Charles Manson or something?

I choose me. It seems the polite thing to do, rather than to inflict death on someone else.

But before I go, I've got this big long list of forum members I'd like to meet with and say goodbye to. Can I have, like, a year to get this done?
