Default What's the worst pain you've ever experienced?

    Physical pain, that is.

I'd say the week that followed when I cut off half of my finger. Lots of painkillers.

A good strong hit on the knee is always pretty bad as well, but it's a lot more short lived pain.

I am lucky enough to very rarely hurt myself or end up in painful situations.
The most painful I can think of was when I broke a finger on the articulation when trying to play basketball (I am very sensotard when it comes to basketball, handball and volleyball and pretty much anything that requires to understand movement of objects and react to it with hand motions, even like putting something in someone's open bag when the someone is walking).

Food-poisoning incident last year. I had never screamed in agony before, no matter how badly injured.

This is a guess, but I believe I ate some rice that was sitting out too long (just one day). I never knew day-old rice could go bad so quickly.

I'm sure there has to be some other factor at play here.

Nope. It only takes 4 hours for the bacteria to have a party.

    Well, I'll be darned. Thanks!

I read the comments left by those who had this happen to them by rice. Their symptoms were just like mine: couldn't stand for more than 30 seconds, legs buckling under me, utter weakness, dragging myself across the floor, etc. I freaking hate being vulnerable. What a way to be humbled lol.

HOWEVER, my parents ate the same rice, just an hour before I did, and they weren't sick at all. It had sat out all day when they ate it too. I must have had a lowered immunity that day, which would have to be that other "factor."

I get that when I drink milk or eat too much yoghurt. It's unbearable.
Actually it's probably among the worst pains I have experienced.
