He's ENTP. You can have Hephaestus.

The three facets of 'Persephone': Kore, Persephone (Queen of the Underworld) and Hecate are fascinating to me because they make for a very rich, psychologically complex symbolic narrative about the power, vulnerability and life stages of women.

Gaia. She's without a doubt the greek Goddess that I have most respect and awe for.

Aphrodite feels like she could be my big sister

And then there's the nymph, Melissa as well as the Muses..very cool

On the darker side, give me Artemis, Nemesis and the Fates. Feeds my 'must kill and punish all evil men and all opposition'-side

Definitely ares. Heck i am even born in the sign of aries. He is the grand war god who loves to smack everyone for the heck of it, aswell as having his ego and genitals stroked by heavenly maidens. Bloodlusting, manly, TERROR personified. Nothing smells better, then the blood of thine enemy. Ares who like myself is propbably an EsXP, a bored Extraverted sensing deity with a nische for blood and guts.

Our horses are swift, our arrows sharp, our swords like thunderbolts, our hearts as hard as the mountains, our soldiers as numerous as the sand. Fortresses will not detain us, nor arms stop us. Your prayers to God will not avail against us. We are not moved by tears nor touched by lamentations."

The title says deity. That's a very broad category. We've already had divine heros like Heracles, and physical embodiments like the Fates and Nemesis, the primordial gods, and indeed, Titans have been suggested as well. As long as the thing has some divinity, and also has a character (don't make Zeus's lightning bolt an answer) then it's a valid choice for my topic, I think.

As I was reading about the Olympians a few days ago, I realized that the story of Hephaestus, Aphrodite, and Ares, may be the oldest version I know of the cliche nice guy/hot chick/asshole story arch.

Me, I'm all about Cupid/Eros. The stereotype is all wrong... he really looks like a Green Beret these days, all muscle and camo face paint. He carries a compound hunting bow with an overdraw system and trigger release. He practices with broadheads.

And though Cupid is bad, I'd much rather have him to deal with than his mother.

Greek Philosophy is cool & more rational than some of the behaviour of the Gods of Greece.

The Greek gods were capricious and hellish, and not worthy of worship; but that was the godscape they were stuck with.
