    It's difficult to choose.

I like Eos for what she represents: the Morning Star, otherwise known as the rosy-fingered goddess of the Dawn. Eos rose up into the sky from the river Okeanos at the start of each day, and with her rays of light dispersed the mists of night. She was sometimes depicted riding in a golden chariot drawn by winged horses, at other times she was shown borne aloft by her own pair of wings.

I'm not too keen on her story though.

I also like Iris: the goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the gods, represented either as a rainbow, or as a young maiden with wings on her shoulders. As a goddess, Iris is associated with communication, messages, the rainbow and new endeavors. As the sun unites Earth and heaven, Iris links the gods to humanity. She travels with the speed of wind from one end of the world to the other, and into the depths of the sea and the underworld. Goddess of sea and sky, she is also represented as supplying the clouds with the water needed to deluge the world, consistent with her identification with the rainbow.

    Poseidon and Pan

I like Poseidon, the God of the sea, for the sea is ineffable.

And I like Pan the God of nature, whose pipes call to all creatures, and who can be heard at dawn and dusk as the wind plays in the willows.

I've always liked Aphrodite and Demeter. They almost seem like complete opposites, yet they both intrigue me.

The primordial deities fascinate me more than the others as a conceptual whole, but individually, they are such narrow and abstract embodiments that there usually isn't enough to them to interest me.
    Go to sleep, iguana.

True, they're more vague descriptions of abstract concepts than they are personified like the others, but that's probably why I liked them more: I love what they represent.
