Movie that can make me tear up almost every time is Contact. Also I seem to have SS's problem with the mirror neurons. If people start crying around me, I get flustered wondering what the hell is happening, and before I know it, my eyes are wet! :steam:

I get teary eyed [happy teary] at weird things though. Like the Apollo 13 blastoff, or the Armageddon nuke explosion. Basically if there's a lot of fire.

I got misty-eyed over that scene too. Probably the fact that the entire movie was overly loud made that scene where Bruce Willis's character gets all the flashbacks of his past as he presses the button that much more surprising and moving.

Do I cry? Yeah. I cry. I cry when I see bad acting. I cry when I see poor camera work. I cry when I hear cliche dialogue.

    Yeah. I cry.

    Dumbest fucking post ever.

I think tearing up (a bit) during movies and performances of many kinds is a common INTJ affliction.

When there is horrible violence that is depicting something that has actually occurred at some point in reality.

Gone with the wind! I cried for half of it, and it's a very long film.
Generally what makes me cry is seeing peoples gut wrenching grief when, for example a loved one dies...esp children.
I get incredibly involved with films, even with naff soaps (hence not watching telly) so i'm prone to feel upset, angry, happy and so on when watching films.

Oh and the end of Dark City where he makes the beach and sun etc. I blinked rapidly during that bit.

    Cutest post ever? Possibly

Oh btw, this reminds me of another weird movie I cried in: "Happy, Texas". Which is a COMEDY. And it was all because of the scene where William H. Macy gets dumped. Again with the unsympathetic friends - instead of understanding, they were like "Aww, you're so cute! I'm gonna tell ALL my gay friends about this."
