The whole bunch of notes from Halla you see when you click your public profile? Wall message space.
I see "Visitor messages." Where does the "wall" come from?

It's "private property". You can hang your pic up there and everything, turn the light switches (i.e. messages) on and off, stuff like that. I've seen some customization possibilities on other forums.

Snooping around IS a gift; it's NOT a disability. :rolli:

I understand the need, would this be more female ratio to male ratio. The attention gets a bit much and people do all kinds of non cool things that can be annoying. I want to express myself fully again and each time I try, mental blank, my language isn't what it used to be. Its the same everywhere, its like tumble weed on my fb too. I think its a great way of talking and getting to know people. Although at the same time it can be surreal when it its viewable. Then again that is what pm's are for. For the most part wall posts are an excellent feature of communication.

Gee, people are really serious about this having a wall, not having a wall thing.

If you don't have your entire life posted up for the entire galaxy to see then you're now "hiding underlying problems."

it's really just as simple as some people are more private then others....some people don't like to disclose private info in a public format.

I just wanted to distinguish between PMs and VMs. If it makes you feel better we can call it Visitor Messages. Facebook calls the place where visitors can write you a wall and that was the first word that came to mind. All good now?

People fear what they do not understand.

Some understand the purpose of maintaining standards of communication and prefer to exercise that control.

Others, as we have seen, do not.
