Having been a makeup artist for the last 23 years I'm going with anything MAC and Olay Pro X. I've spent hundreds of dollars looking for the perfect solution to my dry skin this winter and Pro X is the only thing that has worked.

I was excited about trying ProX, but I find that nearly all the Olay skin stuff peels off your face (like glue dried on your fingers when you're a kid) when you rub it. This was no exception. And then I feel compelled to rub it and have little patches where I have no foundation left.

Tastes Like Purple - I've never tried HD foundation, although I've heard good things about it. What makes it different?

    And, I agree!

I think there is an art to putting on makeup, absolutely!!!

And when I do wear it, I enjoy it.

    I just don't have a daily regimen.

As in, I really prefer not wearing it.

your cheek bones will take you far in life.

it smells ok. as in i haven't really noticed lol. i might also point out it's a firming cream so if you're like 25 you probably don't need it and maybe it will gum up on the surface of your skin because there's no place for it to go? i don't know, just throwing shit out there. ;P

    Oh, that explains it.

    I'm a girl.

I'm definitely not an artist. I fail at artistic creativity.

i doubt that. less is usually more when it comes to make up so if you wear some powder/foundation (if you need it) and a little blush and gloss that's really all most people need. i wear more when i'm in the mood but daily wear is usually just that and some mascara.

Favorite blush, MAC's Harmony. I use it on my cheeks and brush some on my upper eye lids, forehead and nose. Paleness be gone!

    Hahahahhaa, you're too kind!!!!

I guess I can join in this discussion, after some thought.

For example, in my avatar I'm wearing makeup.

I put on this Kiehl's super moisturizer as my "base"

Use this Bobbie Brown on the spot concealer for any blemishes.

And then use this Bobbie Brown concealer for highlighting under my eyebrow arches, and for under my eyes.

Then I use Loreal microliner on my upper lids, followed by some cream base for eye shadow made by, forgot the name, and then I use two eyeshadow palletes, one from Loreal, and the other made by Cargo, and I decide on how I want to "decorate my eyes"

After that, I apply blush to the apple of my cheeks, my blush is made by Loreal.

Oh yeah, and then I put on Mascara, I either use the black or the clear one made by Maybelline.

Hmmm, oh, and then lip gloss of course.

I kinda have an addiction to lip products, of all kinds from all companies, though I try to spend no more than ten bucks on a lip product, excluding lipstick, of course.
