Hey, if I'm #1, I don't see why I have to read other people's posts. Isn't there like a secretary or something for that?

Waitaminuite... I'm being told I'm number one, just like everyone else? What's going on here, all these other number one's hanging around?!?! Some of you guys are clearly number twos.

That post I made was admittedly a bit of a gut reaction, I wasn't thinking straight. I didn't even think it posted, because I quit while it was loading. Anyway, I think it might just be a temporary quick fix. The problem with self help, is that there are so many ways it can go wrong. One idea might work for someone, but it might damage someone else. It would be safer to help people on an individual level. I guess I'm just being skeptical.
You were trying to deflate the mood of the thread by being pedantic. We clearly know that unbridled egoism is bad. However, in February, in the heart of the winter blues in this part of the country, receiving this confidence in others is like a pearl of great price. Do you cast it before swine, in the mud of negativity, or do you value and treasure it, not because you particularly like it, but because someone gave a damn enough about you, thought you were important enough, for you to hear it?

Unquestioning skeptics are not smart. They're just as gullible as unquestioning believers, but in the opposite direction.

This was a very good read.

On a less on topic note, Halla is the kind of guy that would make a good dicator!

Well, you could have said that instead of "oh shut the fuck up". Are you sure that it's wise to fight negativity with negativity? I choose to believe that we are all equals, and I don't see any negativity in that, it's the same thing without the numbers. I'm fine with letting people have a confidence boost, I didn't realize that they need it. Thanks for the insight.

Sure, just like MBTI and astrology. The three of them are tailored to appeal to depressed women. And they do.

Far, far better to ask the women what are they depressed about than to offer them snake oil.

I don't really buy into all the raw-raw stuff but I understand that some people do get something out of stuff like this.

^ don't forget Marx and his Communist Manifesto, enthusiasm for anal, cereal pissing, Capitalist commercialism such as the likes of Nike, and many more fascinating topics.
