Someone from England (originally from English speaking SE asia) said when he talked to me it sounded like he was in a movie since that's what he associates with the midwestern accent. I'll take that.

Personally, I find most accents to have their own distinct charms. Provided I can still understand the speaker well that is.

That having been said, both British and Russian accents are quite attractive to me in particular though.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm in love with the Trini accent.

i like Brazilian and Caribbean and other south/central American accents a lot.
i also like accents from the southern United States, especially Texan.

are any of you in relationships with someone who has a significantly different accent from you?
my wife and i have fairly different accents.

My husband used to say Maysure (measure) and stuff like that. I thought it was so cute and mentioned it. He stopped saying it.

I have already lived a long relationship with a German Girl with a thick accent. So yes, you might say we pronounced words very differently (whether in German or French).

But I can't say that German accent from rural Bayern is that "hot". Unless you want to train your German shepherd, or if you are into that sort of things?

As a matter of fact, I prefered the accent of another Girlfriend of mine, one that came from Northeastern Italy. Very elegant, very quiet, yet very Italian.
