OOoohh, I forgot about this one:

Some times when I play video games and encounter a particularly scary villain, I fear that the monster will jump out of the screen and destroy me.

And some times I'm afraid that something shocking will happen in the game and give me a seizure.

I also empathize with like 10 of the strange paranoias listed on this thread.

I had to stop looking at most of the posts in this thread because they were making my skin crawl.

-Every time I hear a plane fly over head, I consider that it might crash into my house/car/general area and kill me.

-Being arrested and found guilty for a felony that I didn't commit

-I'm afraid to tell people I don't believe in ghosts/god, because I don't want to provoke anything out there into proving me wrong - should I be wrong.

-I've been phobic of fish for as long as I can remember.

-I haven't eaten pickles on my hamburgers for years because of the Tom Green Show episode where he urinated in the pickle tub at a fast food restaurant.

-I'm worried that all of my teeth are just going to randomly fall out of my head one day.

Every time I hear a plane fly over head, I worry that a bunch of evil men in parachutes will land in my front yard with AK-47s. I can't stop checking through the blinds. Again, srsly.

This will really make you not want to eat pickles:

This is actually a common dream for people to have. Dream analysts say that it's indicative of fearing the permanent loss of something irreplaceable. I usually don't hold dream analysis to much merit, but this particular correlation seems to make sense.

Here's a good representational image for this thread:

    That picture makes me think...

Which would strike more fear into one's being:

-Looking from the outside of that cave (where it's light) into the darkness
    or
-Looking from inside the cave (where it's dark) into the light.
