Apart from reading about it on the forum, Vday is a day that will go by unnoticed by me. I wouldn't want it any other way.

    There we go.

Maybe I'll get together and watch a rerun of the SuperBowl for all of us losers who didn't get to watch it last night with anyone because we were alone.... hmmm....

I'm making the man's favorite meal here at home and we'll probably hang out on the couch and watch movies... the type of thing that also featured as our New Years plans!

Usually when single on the day I'd go out with my other single friends for dinner and drinks... usually a guarentee that not everyone would end up spending the evening alone

I never understood what's the big deal with the day.

Well, granted, I feel the same way about any holiday.

Still, a regular Sunday for me. Alone, and not sad about it.

A suggestion for what I can do on Vday as a single person?

Last year I went to Miami for the first time with some friends and had a blast.

    This year?

    Bah.
Buy a bottle of Viagra, host a huge party at your house and ensure that many good looking and available men are on the invite list, invite cute babes to bait them, give good looking men a special toast of "blue" Jello shots, and one hour later when they "rise to the occasion" pay a neighborhood teenager to slash everyone's tires. Turn up the thermostat, it's hot in here, someone tell the DJ to pump up the volume and dim the lights.

    Problem solved. Cupid has spoken.

Ha. Well, there is that 'VDay'/violence against women day that gets organized on valentine's day. It was organized by the organizer of "The Vagina Monologues"

You're gonna see the Winter Olympics??? LUCKY! If you happen to have an extra pair of tickets for short track speed skating, just lemme know.

I keep forgetting Lunar New Year and Vday coincide. I'm hoping that'll be the key to some reprieve! I was eating in Chinatown with a friend once past midnite and we saw the dragon/drummer procession that went to each business (that was still open) to ring in the new year.
