"How dreadful!" cried Lord Henry. "I can stand brute force, but brute reason is quite unbearable. There is something unfair about its use. It is hitting below the intellect." ~ Oscar Wilde - The picture of Dorian Gray
you ever see a thread and think "I'd like to come back and post in that thread when I get time." This was such a thread.
Except it appears to be about mcdonalds with substantial commentary on the english language. Alas.
To answer the OP:
I come here as Type C is the ultimate Do-over opportunity.
Once I read a story about a women with autism. She had problems understanding how close to stand to others when conversing. So she went to the supermarket all summer long. She would spend an hour a day walking up to the automatic door, waiting for it to open and remembering that distance. Thus eventually she learned where to stand when talking to people.
I sort of use Type C in the same way to develop Fi, understand myself and understand other people. It as nice as I can reflect back upon what I did/said/felt and then logically digest and then use in the real world. It is also safe as I can always walk away-it's just an online forum right?
(Except I always come back-the people problems are too interesting and there is too much knowledge, too many patterns here, to ignore just because I get my Fi pinched. Plus I seem to have formed attachments to some of you folks.)
