    From outside this site, a word is a word, regardless of whether it's a username or not. I doubt whether there'd be a way to stop people from searching for the word Elaur and not, say, the word chair.

    To stop that entirely, then, they'd likely have to make the entire site unsearchable from Google, which probably isn't desirable.

    To my knowledge, a robots.txt file doesn't allow one to specify which words should not result in "hits" on this site. If it did, however, one would be able to devise a mechanism to dump all of the usernames from the SQL database into the file automatically, effectively blocking the searching of all usernames.
