Smile A Survey of Typology Central

I decided to do a survey of Typology Central, based on how many member joined under each type. (Not including those who didn't put in an MBTI type.)

    INFP: 796 - 17.7%
    INTP: 909 - 20.2%
    INFJ: 640 - 14.2%
    INTJ: 596 - 13.3%
    ENFP: 461 - 10.2%
    ENTP: 328 - 7.3%
    ENFJ: 118 - 2.6%
    ENTJ: 126 - 2.8%
    ISFP: 96 - 2.1%
    ISTP: 128 - 2.8%
    ISFJ: 76 - 1.7%
    ISTJ: 114 - 2.5%
    ESFP: 31 - 0.7%
    ESTP: 33 - 0.7%
    ESFJ: 20 - 0.4%
    ESTJ: 31 - 0.7%

Total: 4503 members who entered their MBTI type

Therefor: The most common type on this forum is INTP, followed closely by INFP. The least common type is ESFJ, followed closely by ESFP, ESTP, and ESTJ. (I'm guessing they're too busy living their lives and socializing in person to be here, )
Actually, there seems to be an overall trend of more I's on this forum than E's, more N's than S's, F and T is almost equal, and very slightly more P's than J's.

This seems like such an NT thing for me to do... sometimes I wonder...

    What do you guys think?

Wow! That almost neatly falls into a hierarchy drawn along IN, EN, IS, ES!

    Interesting. I expected more ENTJ's, INFP's, and less INTP's.

Haha! I know, it wasn't even intentional, I just decided to search in that order!

Again, the ES's are probably out doing something that isn't as essentially pointless as this. Hooray IN's and their desire to know useless information!! (or maybe that's just me.)

    And NiNjAs

I think this is awesome that someone has been able to do that stats, that's cool to see. Is the internet an I* invention? Or does it just meet I* needs the most?

Not really experiencing a strong affiliation either way for I or E, enjoying reading or spending time with myself as much as seeking out other people I'm currently spending so much time online because there's more cool people in some of the forums I visit than I know in person.
