I'm so not a purse person. I always leave things behind at work/restaurants/everywhere, so a purse would be trouble. I keep what I need in my pockets. Debit card, ID, work card, Chapstick, watch (which I refuse to wear on my wrist like a normal person because it encourages people to ask me what time it is, even if there's a clock in the same room), and one tissue. I need things to stay in the correct pocket or else I have a minor freak out and think I lost something. I might take a pen and notepad if I have the right pants.

When the weather warmed up, I felt compelled to switch to my tiny purse.

It currently holds my cell phone, my atm card, driver's license, Sam's card, movie ticket stub, collapsible pen, and a five dollar bill. I keep my loyalty cards on a separate keyring attached to the handle, along with my regular keyring which holds my mini-van, house, safe deposit box keys and another key that I think goes to the bicycle chains.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
