Who said she wasn't useful?, i think the first comment was "women need to be prepared for a nuclear fallout at a moment's notice. And not just to survive, either, but to look pretty while surviving." I conclude that she being prepared would most likely mean she would be useful

I don't actually carry any sort of handbag, but I could tell you what you might've found in the one I used to carry XD

    Likely contents:

Something random I picked up off the ground
    Chapstick
    Several writing utensils
    Some sort of notebook
    Tape
    iPod
    A book
    Stray change
    Thread, needles, etc.
    Nintendo DS, PSP, etc.
    Old movie tickets
    Lotion
    Scissors
    Camera
Some sort of small action figure
    Caaandy

My comment was specific to the comment I replied to. Pretty is fine, I just value a number of things higher than it as it is, and even more so should it be the nuclear fall out senario. The problem is, I have known girls who are useless for most things other than looking pretty and it's those girls whom I'd see as dead weight if I had to take care of them.
Dreams are best served manifest and tangible.

I accept no responsibility, what so ever, for the fact that I exist; I do, however, accept full responsibility for what I do while I exist.

Ah ok, i see your point, i though you were replying to Greeds original comment about being prepared and looking good too. Hands up, my mistake. Actually i agree that pretty in itself is not much good apart from being aesthetically pleasing.
