    1. Being voiceless.
    2. Being judged unfairly / Not being accepted as who I am.
    3. Being helpless/entirely dependent on others.

    Runnerup: Becoming stupid.

Loneliness is up there too.... but I think I can do okay on my own. I do like intimacy, but I've spent a lot of time going inside and living life alone and enjoying it. The universe is meant to be explored and there's a lot to explore.

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

Not getting all I wanted out of life because it was enough to imagine it.

That everyone knows something, some vital piece of information, that I don't, that would help me get through life more gracefully than I'm doing it now.

Mine is probably being lonely. They say introverts can endure prolonged isolation, but it drives me insane.

Losing everything that makes me who I am. This mainly includes the people I love.

Having my family watch me deteriorate from some god awful disease like cancer before dying in pain.

I don't even like saying it cause I get scared it might make it happen!

It means I will never be able to satisfy my curiousity. I'm curious about what the next day brings, what happens to characters in stories I read and is still ongoing, what will happen to the world in a million year's time (lol), etc. Just that feeling of emptiness and knowing that one day you'll just stop existing, unable to know what the future has in store for you.
Kinda like how you are engrossed in watching a show, where you might be able to predict what's going to happen next but yet you do not want stop watching it or being interupted. And how much I hate the line 'to be continued...' (Well, only that when you die, there's no 'to be continued...', you expired before being able to see the non-existent ending) It forcefully rips you away from an ongoing stream of events, not far from what life has to offer you. When I die, life goes on, I'll most probably miss out on stuff I know I'm going to enjoy.
Not being able to experience anything, even bad or horrible ones, might be worse than being able to.
There are many things I'm afraid of, but I think death is something so scary that I still do not really want to explore the full implications of what that means. But then again, I would already be dead and no longer exist to feel scared about it, so, o_O. Why should I bother?

And then I contradict myself by by having suicidal thoughts at times.

(Am I making any sense at all?)

I used to feel the exact same way, but now having so many loved ones die in my recent past from various maladies (cancer, alzheimers, diabetes) I have discovered a sort of beauty in death similar to the birth of a child. Here's where we start singing the circle of life. . . .

Once the fear of death dissapates everything else becomes sort of boring. . . even rollercoasters. Aw shucks!

But mostly i have to agree with Elaur . . . my biggest fear is the innocents (children) being hurt or in danger and being helpless to save them. I once held my newborn daughter in my eyes and burst into tears as I stared into her trusting dark alien blue eyes and realized that I would never truly be able to protect her from pain. My husband found me sobbing, but I couldn't help him understand the immensity of the agony I felt at my helplessness.

Hydrophobia? Been bitten by a rabid animal recently?

People. And things. But mostly people.
Also, the potential meaninglessness of existence, suffering, etc.
And the suffering and/or premature death of loved ones.
