Question Ni Dominants in Invisible Mode?

Is it just me, or do INXJs have a trend of using the invisible mode function? Do they not wish to be seen by the "all seeing eye"?

I'm not going to lie...I'm probably the most paranoid person I know.

I just don't like the idea of people knowing what I am doing on the forum at any moment/if I'm on the forum. I value my privacy to a very large extent. I always go into invisible mode whenever possible; irl and online. In my case it's related to Ni, but I see other introverts and some extraverts do it as well.

Ha. I can't speak for other INXJ's but I, for one, like to be the "all seeing eye" myself. It's not so much about being paranoid but being in control, or at least having the illusion of being in control. That I can gather information while nobody else is gathering information about me gathering information at the same time. If that makes sense. That sounds awfully close to being a stalker, but so be it. I like being invisible, it gives me comfort.

Control of others? Or control of the self? For me, it is the latter. Or both sometimes, at least controlling the amount of control others have over me.

Sheesh, I sound like a control freak.

+1 on the control freak front.
