Destroy your computer and they'll be gone.

Should be all you need. A process that rates antivirus software says it scores better that most paid antivirus software like Norton, TrendMicro, and McCafee and even better than AVG Free.

When you're done, get rid of norton immediately.

Did you tree other free spyware/malware scanners?
    I use SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes.

You can always try some free online scanners like Panda (FREE ANTIVIRUS online: ActiveScan 2.0 - PANDA SECURITY) or Kasperski. I would also suggest getting rid of Norton. I had used it for one year on a laptop, I scanned it every weeks and yet, after the licence expired and got a new antivirus, I discovered plenty of infected files.

I think there was also a promotion on Avira Antivirus and you got a free 3 months subscription for the Premium version. You could try checking with that as well.

    Although no antivirus is perfect.

As far as I know, the only way to be 100% sure you are rid of the virus is to completely reformat your PC.

You might want to run CC Cleaner first and then use Combofix (don't get scared off by the weird name of the URL; it's really the place where to get the Combofix spyware removal tool. Just scroll a bit down to find the download link).

I highly recommend these two. No frills, easy to use, and very effective (and free of course).

Antivirus is more trouble than it's worth.
