Hmm... so, whatever, what's your impression of this one? The sounds and theme remind me of some of my more negative dreams when I was under stress (although I like the beat and everything). What effect does it have on you?
JM is such a good blues guitarist. I wish he didn't try so hard to attract the pubescent girls. He opened his wings a little when he made that record with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino.
I can appreciate both his endeavors (those in the blues and pop arena). The Trio thing was a great idea though and a good way for JM's talent to shine thru, past the polished and poppy material he had been putting out. I enjoyed the Trio cd a lot and there's some really solid guitar playing on that album but, I also enjoy and appreciate his other stuff.
