It just seems like they're so with-it, serious, practical, organized, competent, leading, and efficient.
As if these are the end-all qualities for which to strive. What's efficiency matter if you crush everyone's feelings under your boots? What's the point of anything if you can't slow down and reflect? Why is seriousness any more important than inanity and humor? What's the point of leading by force?

Where is the gratitude, the enjoyment, the vibrancy, the beauty? Why aren't they important anymore?

Don't think all the absurd stereotyping in this thread belongs in the MBTI section, so moved

I'll consider trading your N for my S. However, I am definitely keeping my J!

(Yes, I know ENTP has Ne and INTJ has Ni so you can't even trade them)

Unfortunately, to the general public, enjoyment, vibrancy et al are not really important and never have been -except as a distraction from their autopilot humdrum life.

BTW, cute avatar...I first read that as "Break kitten gently." xD

I don't blame you for wanting to become ESTJ... it is a very desirable type. Unfortunately for you though, one can not change his/her type. Once you have a type, it's pretty much set in stone. And by "pretty much", I mean "surely".

    Two answers.

    1) Wanting to copy some ESTJ qualities is not the same as wanting to copy their flaws, too.

    2) A well-rounded ESTJ knows the value of love. He just seeks it efficiently.
    Got questions? Ask an ENTP!

^ True, a lot of the ESTJ's overbearing, administrative "enforcer" style behavior is based on good intentions--they really do think they know what's best for you and they're willing to push that for your own good whether or not you realize that they're "right." There's a lot of Fi going on behind the scenes.
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

This is very true, but it can get very annoying at times, and that's something which they probably do not realize, lol.
