Your at your house from going home from work. You think of all the interesting conversations you're going to talk about tomorrow with your friends,or co-workers,or fellow students,whatever...then when you get into a conversation, you forget all what you wanted to talk about...

Pretty much every day, honestly. I completely forget to even mention it once I start talking with those friends. Then I remember afterwards that I didn't bring it up...
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

I think up these conversations and then I let myself forget them, and you know what happens? The discussion often comes to a topic that is linked to one of these latent conversations waiting in my mind. And it might seem to other people that I am smart since I can take the discussion to a new level with apparent spontaneity, but in fact the ideas were just waiting there.

So, don't worry, you are building up a storage of material that can be used later on. And when you do it like this, people are also a lot more interested in the subject, as they basically started it, you just bridged their subject to the subject you already knew.
