    Default What's your biggest fear?

Yes, I would like to know.
In the enneagram, there's a correspondence between fear and type, and I'm curious to see if there could be other correspondences between fear and type too.
I think being the victim of a mass murderer is one of my biggest fears. Blind violence - not being able to escape.
I'm also afraid of rejection - may see rejection when there actually is none.
Please feel free to move my thread if it's in the wrong subforum. I'm still a bit fresh in here
I have no sense of humour.

To be tortured or die painfully, also heights but I kind of feel I can get over that one, I push it all the time.

I am presuming that you are one of those people that freak out when they are at some high place and someone grabs them by suprise and says ""Watch out, you are going to fall !!!" ?

I wouldn't say I freak out, I'd freak out more if someone threw a maggot at me. :horor: Yuck.

My heart would probably skip a few beats, I would gasp, and then I would plot my revenge. Maybe itching powder down said offenders pants.

Feeling helpless is my biggest fear. Having no control over my own actions and not being able to defend myself against somebody/something.

alzheimer's, insanity, not being in control of your own mind....

I think I picked that fear up from my daddy who nursed my grand parents who had alzheimer's at home when I was a wee girl.

I think it was his dstress as seeing his daddy worry about him and keep playing it over nad over in his head.

Drowning in the middle of the deep ocean, watching the light of the sun slowly fade away as I sink to the bottom, forgotten and never to be found...

On a less morbid (non-4w5) tone, talking to the woman I have a crush on

appreciates being appreciated, conflicted over conflicts, afraid of being afraid, bad at being bad, predictably unpredictable, consistently inconsistent, remarkably unremarkable...

I may not agree with what you are feeling, but I will defend to death your right to have a good cry over it
