i read until i have to respond rather that's halfway through the op, after it or after i've read all or most responses. i'm aware that's probably annoying to a lot of people but i just have to express the thought before i have another one and lose it.
There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

I like that strategy, to keep significant thoughts in mind even if you're not directly quoting them.

Does that change depending on the topic?
If it's serious and I'm interested in the topic I'll read/skim all the responses, if it's crazy long I'm likely to not post because I won't read it.

Do you subscribe to every thread you have replied in?
    Yup. *subscribed*

Do you go back to threads after a period of time?
If they're bumped they show up in my usercp so I may, if the topic still interests me.

Or do you land like a butterfly in many threads, add a thought and move on?
Mostly, I tend to respond once or twice then move on.

Usually, though I have my limits. I skim through long threads and read through short ones, unless the subject happens to be particularly interesting or particularly dull. Mostly I'll have formulated an opinion based on the OP and am checking to make sure I'm not overly repetitive, though sometimes my perspective or understand of the OP will change based on other peoples' responses.

For polls, though, I usually just read the OP and vote.

@ OP: I read every post.
If a deaf INFP falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Occasionally I read the whole OP but mostly skim it. I will read short posts and skim long posts.

Bit up and down, sometimes only the title, sometimes all of it, sometimes backward. Like now, I'll scroll my way upward, towards the beginning.

After reading this thread I realize that I need to keep my posts brief.

Used to read everything, now I just skim read. My strategy skim read the op if its long and skim read everything else to get a gist of what others have said then respond if I'm up to it to do so. If a thread is really long I skip pages and read the op and last page and randomly something in the middle.

BOOM! You lose. You didn't skip my post because you are reading it. And you are perhaps reading it because I added an onomatopoeia at the beginning and wrote my next thing about you.

    Answering the OP:
I read the OP. I skim through the thread when there are less than 40 posts. Varies through different topics. I don't subscribe to threads. I do go back to threads I posted on every time I go back on my pc (tab saved). If you aren't the OP and you read until here you have passed my test. The test indicates many things you could be. Hopefully it would not indicate stalker issues.
