the reason an N bias exists on this forum

an excuse when you can't answer the question of "why?"

    utter bullshens

By definition, it's a perceiving, introverted, intuitive function. It is perhaps the most mysterious function because it's the one hidden most deeply in the psyche due to its 3 defined characteristics. It perceives with minimal external input, instead relying on the user's internal perspective. (or lack thereof)
If a deaf INFP falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

    To me, Ni is...

the one checking the workings of your mind, very good at self-references.
the one bringing structure into your memory, eg. ranking "horse" under "animal" etc.

(While to me Ne seems the most random function, Ni seems the most structured one...)
    Got questions? Ask an ENTP!

I think you are mixing Te and Ni.

It's like the fortress of solitude.

It doesn't tell you what you want you want to know; but somehow derives what is going to happen and you don't know why or how.

As a dominant Ni user I feel my Te runs around in circles adding new crystals into the design and the Fi critiques its design and eliminates any redundant materials for Te to try to put elsewhere.

In some ways it works a bit like this...

:rolli: I already said how, a bunch of posts back. Ni's not mysterious, it's quite simple, actually.
    Love is the point.

Ni is your subconscious talking to you..
    We all have a subconscious..
Apparently some people think it's a magic power or something supernatural..
    Nonsense
You either listen to it or you don't..

Ni isn't the tip of the iceberg, it is the entire iceberg.

I think of it as realizing the "Big Picture" is so enormous it won't fit inside your head and so you take to viewing one bit at a time extrapolating the rest from the fragments, continually drawing interconnecting lines, and continually distilling it down to its core. So much of it resides beneath the surface that it is difficult to deal with such thought processes in a linear way that can encapsulate the whole.

The part that is difficult to put into words is the process of gathering and viewing the smaller fragments of the enormous whole. The "Aha!" moment occurs once enough interconnections have been made that the whole can be accurately derived from that small piece that fits inside your conscious mind - the tip of the iceberg.

It's like an alternate reality that you explore but no one else seems to be aware of. Bits of random information being interpolated into a point of knowledge, and then assembling itself into a world-view. The exact opposite of Ne, where random projectiles just sprout from the "main" point like someone strapped C4 to a hedgehog and pulled the switch. Ne users can tease Ni users like a matador who is always evading the horns of the bull.
