    Okay, okay. I can't resist.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Yep, yep. Fluff up my fucking thread.
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

Don't we really all have the same avatar: the one that projects an image we want people to see?

Mmmmmm...I dunno. There are some of us whose avatar is pretty damn authentic. Plus, if it weren't for the administrative inefficiency, my avatar would change every 92 seconds, because that's how much interesting shit I come across everyday that I wish to share with other people in real-time, because that's how I am, selling used cars to old ladies, rescuing kittens out of trees, and what not.
