I went out to breakfast with the family (more like lunch time, but we ate breakfast food) and I'm pretty sure our waitress was drunk! She was slurring her words, forgetting everything and just acting bizarre in general. It was entertaining . Then we went to the movies.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

I woke up really early and pretended to be a pioneer by baking homemade bread for dinner/lunch. With a glass of champagne in my hand I visited and mostly listened to everyone catching up and being happy. Everyone was content and cheerful this year, it was very pleasant.

We aren't celebrating Christmas until Sun/Mon because we're waiting until our exchange student gets here.

Today we just chilled out, my mom made chicken nuggets for lunch, we watched some movies with the kiddos. Don called his mom/sister and his dad/step-mom and I called my dad. I did some laundry and took a nap.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Same, plus I've had to do partake in several because everyone couldn't be around on the same day, so tomorrow I have to go to Christmas celebration number four this week.

Just before worked, then went out with my friends to catch up on the week.
Yesterday, Turkey at my parents place, low key stuff, brother dropped by too.
Right now, chilling out and am thinking whether I should go to a gig tonight.
oh and eating lots of chocolate and wine even though it depresses me.

Stayed up until 5am baking cookies.
Woke up at 9:30am to continue baking cookies and open presents.
Got an Xbox 360 and Just Dance for the Wii (other things, as well)
Went to family gathering that was nice.
Watched one of my brothers propose to his girlfriend.
Came home to hang about, call a friend over, and play some Wii for laughs.

I had a pretty good day
