It's craziness. He says he misses her, she's his best friend.... all the stuff that somewhat older kids say when they're crushing. She's a year older, so she kinda initiated talk like that(Disney movies be damned). They're funny to watch though. I wonder how long they'll stay friends.

And I don't know why I left out Johnny Depp. I loved him in Benny and Joon.

Those traits are probably universally attractive in women, for sure.

I had a crush on him in that movie too. That must have been the start of me liking quirkiness.

    Zelda from Ocarina of Time.

    Cortana from Halo.

I'll have to think of more.

She is, but I was never exposed to her really. I didn't like television.

I didn't have crushes on fictional characters in my childhood that I can remember of. All of those emerged in my teens, but they've all been quite short-lived fascinations about certain characters. I've always preferred to crush on real people and not fictional characters. Fantasies are nice and all but I like to keep things real.

    To name some:

Christian Bale as Laurie in Little Women

Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.

Patrick Swayze as Johnny in Dirty Dancing.

Sean Patrick Flanery as Indiana Jones in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett in Quantum Leap

John Corbett as Chris Stevens in Northern Exposure

Michael J. Fox in the Back to the Future trilogy.

    There have been plenty more.
