eta: (^agree, but in my case I tried some stupid "supposed to be a mensa test" once and thought it was really dumb and I wouldn't waste my time taking whatever mensa test you had to take to join. If it's just about a test score I might actually try it. Of course I'm talking about it and not looking into it.)

Exactly, if I were to join it would be another club I could try to enjoy and then forget about going to meetings. It might be worth the trying to enjoy part.

    Extroversion FTW.

Interesting to see so many people who are passionately against an organization they know almost nothing about personally, just because it has an element of exclusion.

Yes, they get store discounts and another club membership, but other than that they have no powers over the general population.

It is a great networking tool however. Not to say people cannot create their own opportunities by meeting people everyday, but how many people have the time/motivation to do so?

The wgninhi in this thread boggles my mind. (unscramble the letters for a surprise!)

    They be smart.

What are the qualifications. I glanced at that site and had a test score that worked, is it more than that? Someone else find out.

Well so far you didn't say anything new... If you are to say we know almost nothing about the organisation it would be preferred if you gave us something new about it to chew on.

I'm qualified based on my PSAT scores and IQ. I'd join for the discounts.
