I think you're pretty darn ISFJ! I think I'm just more visible around here than you are.

6 of them don't claim to be the types you have associated them with. I associate @Zarathustra with 6w5 and 6w5s with warning signs. I have an intj 6w5 friend whom I get along with extremely well in rl - a best pal he is. Pours/shares a massive amount of his internal monologues with me - which makes me realize how intelligent he is. So I guess what I said isn't exactly true. Could you relate to the sharing monologues part?

    Was this addressed to me??

And what did you mean by "[you] associate 6w5s with warning signs"?

Yes it was - do you share your thoughts with people you trust. Warning sign meant 6w5s are extremely argumentative - they would adamantly argue about most things. It's just an observation which I have made in almost all regular 6w5s here. Quite different they are from 6w7s. So the warning sign would read - if you wish to tread get ready for a marathon.

    Yes.

I have a lot of lifelong (>2/3 of my life) friends, and they think of me as quite loquacious.

Get me away from people I trust, tho, and there are various reactions I might have.

I might not say anything; I might try to break the ice; I might dominate them.

And, it should be noted, trust is not necessarily related to amount of time known.

In fact, today I shared my inner monologue with a group of people I'd never met before.

They all had already shared theirs, though, so I figured it was only right for me to share mine.

    Aye, yes.

    6w7s lean toward 7SE, whereas 6w5s lean toward 5SI.

6s are 6SS -- pure systemic thinkers -- but the 6w5 leans Intrinsic, whereas 6w7 leans Extrinsic.

This means 6w5s tend to put more value on the internal (intrinsic) world, and 6w7s on the external (extrinsic) world.

As such, 6w5s are more willing to forego the benefits of the external world for the integrity of the inner world.

6w7s, otoh, are more willing to forego the integrity of the inner world for the benefits of the external world.

Which is why 6w5s are considered more of a loner type, whereas 6w7s are dubbed "the buddy".

I never expected to see my name here. I've questioned my type numerous times. I just put INTP because I haven't found anything that fits better and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
