But they make the terrible mistake of trying to make their introverted children just like the extroverted.
Of course the parents and teachers do this with the best will in the world because they can see that extroverts are much more successful in the world. Unfortunately they are setting up their introverted children and pupils for a lifetime of unhappiness.
So it is vital for parents and teachers to treat introverts on their own terms and not as fake extroverts.
They need to know that introverts, quite unlike extroverts, need time to mature. They need time to relax in the world and discover their introverted gifts.
