Learning a new dance move and doing it very well. I always get this strong feeling of accomplishment and pride in myself because, YEARS AGO, I never ever thought I'd be doing something like this before.

    Today makes me happy.
Someone picked up my shift, its Sunday, and the ground is covered in snow. Its sunny and about 35-40 degrees out. Now I can study for my test tomorrow. And all I'm going to do is go pick up some milk and also some lunch for one of my friends who is working 16 hours and dropping it off for her. And walking the dogs around and talking on the phone.

Days like today make me very happy

Good debates and good wine. Preferably one before the other, you choose.

The moment in a fight or heated argument when both parties realise that their conflict only arose because they were too short-sighted to see the other's point of view. It's the moment in which you can truly gain a deeper understanding of and respect for the other person, and there's the feeling of mutual humbling and mild shame that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think that the easiest way for me to grow closer to another person is through this kind of situation, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Also, sunsets. I fucking love sunsets.

Everytime I see my feral kitten take a couple of steps closer to me, with an upright tail, actually daring to greet me, I can't help but smile. She's come so far..she'll even come up to me to sniff me nowadays where before she wouldn't dare to in the same room.

And everytime I see how well she's adjusted to the life in my colony, happy to see others, happy to play, it's just..such a joy to see.

It doesn't help that she's a complete fuzzball (long-haired tabby) and has the most adorable expressions on her face
