The ones I get most often are Celine Dion and Princess Diana. I don't think there's much of a resemblance to either, but probably a tiny bit more to Di. I've also been told I look like LeeLee Sobieski. I'm afraid the common theme with all these people is that they have fairly prominent noses...
As a young brunette I pretty much got every brunette star (I didn't even list them all). There was another girl at my college who I discussed it with (we got called each other's names) and she said she got the same exact thing. I've always found it interesting. I think my favorite was that I looked exactly like "Uncle ...." (can't remember the name, it was just so funny)
Do we see stars so much it is almost like identifying someone with looking like a relative? Do people feel like if you say someone looks like a star it's a compliment?
People like that kid I knew who looked just like Tom Cruise is one thing, but being told I look like at least 10 different stars always made me think there was more to it than just actually looking similar to another person.
“I made you take time to look at what I saw and when you took time to really notice my flower, you hung all your associations with flowers on my flower and you write about my flower as if I think and see what you think and see—and I don't.”
― Georgia O'Keeffe
A lot of people tell me I look like, and sometimes confuse me with such figures as
and Will Smith
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?
