Million doll-hairs would hardly keep the homeless folks warm. And certainly not fed.

But ok, if material things are the only ones that make you happy, then yes, you will be the happiest person on earth when you have enough funds to buy you all the things in the world.

But if materialism isn't enough for you to feel happy, when you want more than just things, a roof over your head and a full stomach, then you can't buy that with anything. You might think that you can but it would be empty, fake.

YES. When you look in your fridge and all you have is bacon, some cheese, 2 bagels, and some pickles; and on top of the fridge ramen (); and in your wallet 1 dollar; I would say that having a large amount of money would make you ridiculously happy.

This is one of those questions that baffels me as to why it is still being asked. The only people who think it can are those without it and chasing it.

The purpose isn't so much for a yes or no answer. It's for thoughts on the idea.

You added a few conditions that were not present in your first post.

I never said "only," so I don't know where you got that. And "materialism" (I think you mean consumerism) brings a high degree of comfort and security that make most of the folks that walk on this planet very happy indeed.

However, you answered "yes," so I'll move on.

Its pretty clear cut to me. It bothers me when someone thinks that it can, it's so deluded.
