    If it's a casting call for the average Midwestern housewife/mom, you should wear khakis, a fitted tee, and a button down shirt with 3-quarter sleeves over the top. Trust me. That is the uniform of every mom in a commercial these days.

    I thought it meant having no fashion sense - just being conservative and boring. Like people on the two coasts generally have a "look" that is associated with being more fashionable or sexy. Then in the South there's the whole stereotype that women will dress more feminine and men will wear cowboy boots or baseball caps everywhere.

    Of course these are just stereotypes, but yeah, I'm fairly sure that's what it means.

    I am not sure on this one. I did have a lady friend from Chicago. A real débutante. She had some rather chic outfits (actually a storage locker filled with them), like Sacs 5th Avenue attire for cold climates (i.e. quality coats with fur color and fur inside).

    I however am still not sure...
