    Chicago is urban, and considered "East coast" even though I guess it technically isn't.

    The word "mid-western" generally implies small town people in America's heartland or some bullshit like that. Las Vegas is technically the mid-West, I think, and I certainly wouldn't go to that casting call dressed in next to nothing.

    Probably like a farmer. Flannel shirt tucked into jeans with belt, work boots, etc. That'd be my guess. If they say "dress midwestern," they're probably looking for a stereotype.
