Sure, being a female makes you more predisposed to possessing that kind of notion with sex, but it's still a personality thing, not a gender thing, imho...
I didnt make that claim, I just said its different by its design. I wanted to say nothing more

And I agree that biology can result in a male/female difference. For instance, testosterone has a significant effect on drive. However, I also think these differences are frequently overstated in order to support existing paradigms.

If I'd never stated my gender or given any explicit indication about it, I don't think anyone here would know I'm a woman.

Yes, that was my original theory for why OP (and others) seperated by gender.

What is preferable as personality traits in an individual is gender-contingent.

I still don't see any reason to believe that female XXXXs are different from male XXXXs simply because of the difference in gender.
This wasn't the issue of yours I was originally addressing. You originally asked why the separating by gender, I answered that question, not whether a type is manifested differently b/w gender (although I think there are differences due to gender as well ...e.g., female ENTPs may have more of a social pressure to develop Fe younger).

I'm fine with the whole society being more willing to accept traits in one gender over another though, so I guess that's why people felt the need to separate their preferred types based on gender.

That, and it was a system started in the OP.
    This.

Hope I was of some help in clearing that up!

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

To Blah: You never stated you were a woman. You just claimed to have a female body part. ^^
