I don't do it often but sometimes I talk about the need to stand up straight and use your legs as a crumple barrier if the elevator goes down.

I've used a few hotel elevators blind drunk. I'd like to know what I did, I reckon I'd have a funny story or two.

I stand there, either looking at the numbers, at the ceiling, the floor, my cell phone, or myself in the reflection and realize how amazing I look.

I look at the security camera and smile. (I know the images they get on the other end are choppy, and I hope that if I do it long enough they would get a frozen frame of me smiling at them and hopefully that would make their boring job a bit happier)

Look in the mirror and move a few strands of hair.

    Wink at myself.

    Readjust underwear.

Look to the ceiling to find a way out .. Just in case.

Get impatient .. I don't have all day.

As i am walking out .. Debate with myself if i should press all the buttons hoping someone will get in and be in a rush .. Lol

Also no better time to smell your own armpits (maybe the only/best time to do this)

If there is a mirror, I make silly faces in it. If there isn't a mirror, I just go on stand-by.
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

When I'm alone in an elevator, I get this urge to push the "close" button asap- "Hurry. Hurry. Now. Push. Quick" just to see how fast it can close.

When I was a kid, my cousins and I would jump right before the elevator stopped. I loved the feeling of bouncing against gravity.
