No, I am not happy. I'd say melancholic (or more accurately perpetually pensive)...which makes happiness kind of hard. But, I am an eternal optimist. Not so much about my self...just a general belief in good over bad in the end. Go figure. Once I reconcile some things I expect a mood lift, and a subsequent rejoining in the world. I guess MBTI interested me initially because I was trying to understand how I function/ what drives me. Being on the border of introversion and extroversion has been messing with this. If I were completely happy, I would be an extrovert. The more I withdraw from people, the more depressed I become...almost catatonic.

I think content would be a more accurate word but if I have to choose between happy or not, I would have to say happy!

Seems a trend.. I am new and not in a happy place at all..

It's encouraging to see so many people say that has changed for them..

I'm feeling good in a lot of ways I wasn't when I first came here. Yes I too registered when I was going through a period of my life where I wanted to re-discover myself. I actually took the MBTI test by chance and liked it, not just for what it had to say about me but for all the things it couldn't say and that made me think.

Right now I'm definitely in a better place. But I still can't say I've found contentment. But I feel I'm on the right path now, as opposed to how I felt when I first came here.

Because if you say deep down you're neither, you're lying :P.

Also thanks for the responses so far, they've definitely been more interesting than the poll results

    P(posting on TypoC) = 0.2
P(having big assignment due | posting on TypoC) = 0.7

P(posting on TypoC | having big assignment due) = .......

    Eh, I'll finish it later.

I'm sure I can find my way.

... Guess I got a long time to decide whether or not it 'was' happiness after all.
