    That exactly.

A weekend of 90% sloth and 10% creative venture generally makes me quite happy.

Dolce far niente, that's what the Italians say, and I must agree.

"Lazy Weekends" to me are "Weekends that I do not have obligations of any kind to attend to."

On lazy weekends, I enjoy the freedom to do what I want.
I do not enjoy sitting on my ass and wasting time.

Even if I am laying out, I'll be reading a book, or catching up with someone on the phone.

I've had too little time for way too long to be able to just sit and be useless.

I guess I tend to view recuperating from an insanely busy week as an investment in my future sanity. I'll probably try to cook something new and interesting and piddle with a project or to, but just at a leisurely pace. No feverish, frantic doings allowed. Unless it's of the sexual nature. Then the doing is welcome to be feverish.
I think I think more than you think I think.

It only makes me feel relaxed during the weekend. Then, Sunday night and Monday morning, I feel extremely unpleasantly stressed.

I love it at first, but when I've run out of ideas for fun stuff, I feel bored, which makes me feel restless or guilty for being unproductive.

Yeah, exactly. It doesn't mean I don't do anything. I can go cycling, ice skating, hiking, playing soccer, play videogames, etc. etc.

Why should my weekends be any different than any other day?

It's a good thing. Embrace the sloth!
