    Mine.

    Except with a big fireplace to type and read in front of, and a wet bar for when I get annoyed with a project.

    Also, having private space within a shared home is nothing to be ashamed of.

    You sound whipped.
    Listen to me, baby, you got to understand, you're old enough to learn the makings of a man.

    Of course, being a single dad, the entire house is mine. Though I share it with the kids, there's no other adult living here to contest my ultimate authority. The kids' rooms I guess, are theirs, but I'm the landlord! (and they have to keep all their shit in them on pain of having it confiscated), Though I have carte blanche to enter and interact with their territory, they have to adhere to rules when they're in mine, AKA the rest of the house. And I can banish them to their rooms whenever they piss me off. You can't do that to a wife... any more... sadly...

    Edit - See what I did there? The floodgates are open - we've had the warm-up, now let the macho bullshit REALLY begin!

    My apartment is kind of a mancave... kind of. I don't have much for furniture in it, but I have a place to burn pizzas, my computer and a pile of whatever that I sleep in. The only oddity is my brother, but he hasn't gone around prettying things up yet (thank God!)

    Edit: By the way Halla, I still love seeing pics of your den.

    I accept no responsibility, what so ever, for the fact that I exist; I do, however, accept full responsibility for what I do while I exist.

    My man-cave is probably my car. Given that it takes my presence to keep that damn heap running... *grumbles*
    ...Then I ducked my head and the lights went out, and two guns blazed in the dark;
    And a woman screamed, and the lights went up, and two men lay stiff and stark...

    Since Edgar and Argus want the whole house so badly, we'll let them take care of the clearing while the rest of us "hide"

    My man cave is not very cave-like, but it has a massage recliner, computer, minifridge, my top-notch sound equipment (just recently upgraded!) and of course the necessities . No matter how shitty of a day I have, I can always come home, blaze to some hi-fi tunes in blissful isolation. Every man should have one!

    What? Oh! $#&% that's why everyone is looking at me like that.

    Cross-dressing is just a part-time hobby, alright? Give my beer back.
