Skiing is where Italy dominates Florida. You have the Alps, we have NOTHING.

A friend of mine said San Diego, California is great because you could conceivably go to the beach in the morning and snow skiing in the afternoon, all in the same day. Of course there would probably be some transit costs to consider, but the novelty would be worth it!

That's good but honestly I would miss snow and the autumn. It snowed 2 weeks ago here in the NY/NJ metro area. The trees have changed into beautiful colors... red, orange, yellow, brown, purple, I'm seeing them all now as I type. Oh yeah - and green. I love it.

Ohhhh yeah! North Florida is one month behind the Mid-Atlantic, South Florida is one month behind North Florida. I was in D.C. a few weeks ago and it was full on Autumn. Nice and cool, but a bit dreary when overcast. We actually get a "mini winter" here in North Florida, while y'all below the frost line (Vero Beach and South) are sipping Mojitos and tanning.

I'm not a Fall hater! But, I'd rather winter for a few weeks at a time while skiing then go back to a warmer climate... The turning of the leaves is a sight to behold. There is nothing like a drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway when the leaves are turning, it's one of the most scenic drives on the East Coast.

Yeah, San Diego has one of the best climate and landscapes in the world, aswell as most southern Cali (along with Italy, of course, ahahah). There are really only a handful of places where snow and warm weather can co-exist in such a small range of kms, the only one I can recall is Turkey.

Omg, snow in Autumn, that's...scary! Ahah. If I see snow before the start of December, that means the winter is going to be reallly harsh
