What Sound (not its real video, but I couldn't find the "official" one- also on the album with Gabriel, so it might also be about her baby)
    Thank you!
These two are breathtakingly beautiful don't you think? Are they by chance a couple?

And the award for the coolest song with the most disturbing yet fascinating video goes to:

    Massive Attack- Teardrop

I love Massive Attack! Limey bought Mezzanine for me around the time when we got married so I have a special place in my for this song!

Why do you find the Teardrop video disturbing? Because the unborn fetus is lip syncing? lol

Yeah that's pretty much it. LOL

I bought Mezzanine the year between college and marrying Noah, and we listened to it a LOT during our 9 month honeymoon in NYC. So that's what it makes me think of.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Sappy schmappy. It works, and if you don't watch the video and only listen halfheartedly to the lyrics, it's actually a nice song. Much better than Ozzy's "Imagine" inspired, drug induced "Dreamer": YouTube - Ozzy Osbourne-Dreamer First time I saw it I laughed and thought "who the heck convinced you this was a good way to try to please the Ozzy fans"?

    (crossposted)

I had never heard of this group until my mom reported that my son (who's 2) LOVES this song. It turned up on a CD either my younger brother or sister (21 and 15 respectively) played in the car when my son was visiting, and evidently he insisted that they crank it up and play it over and over.

This is my favorite music video of the moment, and it just happens to be from one of my favorite bands. It's impressive both from a conceptual and technical standpoint.

YouTube - Muse - Invincible (Official Video)

That was quite good. Now how can you like Muse and not Radiohead??
