Eh, I like tattoos.... as long as they actually have meaning, and there aren't too many. The right tattoo in the right spot with the right meaning can be awesome.
I have one... probably wouldn't get another. It's an Irish blessing that I've always loved written in Gaelic, and has the name of a loved one in it. Also reminds me of an important time in my life, in addition to everyone in my past, present, and future. I like it because it's incredibly personal ... and private because no one could read it. If I didn't feel like sharing something so intimate with someone, I could tell them it was the pledge of allegiance written in some made up language or something. When random strangers ask me, I just tell them it's Spanish. I frequently get blank, confused looks.
